Wicker might be a good guy, but that biography is typical of what I see in GOP congressman these days. Nothing inspiring at all, no achievements outside of politics that would convince independent voters to vote for him.
The worst is Eric Cantor. We are promoting a man to leadership who has no achievements in his life to justify it.

His bio is so sparse it's embarassing. Just a carreer politician who seems to have been groomed by other career politicians. I'm sure if I got to know him I might like him, but a guy like that is not going to attract new converts to the party, period.
Have you noticed what Ram Emanuel is doing? The candidates he is recruiting have impressive backgrounds that appeal to people, their actual policy views are secondary to that.
You guessed it. The new senator endorsed Fred Thompson a while back. (h/t Perico)

His Club for Growth rating, unfortunately, looks to be par for the course for Mississippi Republicans. I hope that he's at least good on all the other stuff.
